TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE DECEMBER/JANUARY HOLIDAYS

For stays in the December/January school holidays which do not include any days from 24th December through to 1st January (inclusive), please scroll down for information regarding booking deposits.


The following T's & C's only apply to pets staying any days from 24th December to 1st January inclusive (referred to below as Xmas/New Year).

We have a minimum 7 day, maximum 9 day boarding charge over the Xmas/New Year period, which is payable before 1st September. Bookings made after 1st September for the Xmas/New Year period are payable at time of booking.

Why do we ask for payment before 1st September or at time of booking if made after 1 st September? For many years, too many people were reserving quite lengthy blocks of time covering the Xmas/New Year period “just in case” they wanted to go away. Quite a few of these people would only let us know a day or two before Xmas that they didn't want the booking. Some didn't even bother to tell us they weren't coming. There were too many of our VIP's
(Very Important Pets) missing out. We felt it was only fair to have rooms available for those who genuinely wanted the booking.

Booking deposits are required for each room booked when the reservation is made to secure the booking. The booking may lapse if we have not received your payment and may not be able to be reinstated due to lack of availability.

$50 booking deposit required for each room booked in our Dawgy Dorm, Lil' Dawgy Fun House & Cattery. $100 booking deposit per room is required for dog Resort Rooms.

Payment not received before 1st September for the Xmas/New Year period may result in bookings and deposits being forfeited and cancelled without notice.

Additional services such as transport, extra personal playtimes, administration of medication, extra handling of wet food brought from home or special attention needed, is not required to be paid until check-in.

Please carefully read our T's and C's as full refunds will only be given with the passing of pets. This is not negotiable, therefore, to avoid disappointment, please do not ask. Circumstances relating to medical conditions which prevents boarding will be taken into consideration.

Prior to your pet's arrival, we ensure sufficient staff are available to care for them based on the period you have booked. Therefore, the booked period is payable on check-in for days in the school holidays, with no refund or credit if you decide to come home early. We are happy to refund or credit days outside of the school holidays. No bookings or payments can be on-sold or transferred to a third party.

Cancellations before 1st September:
All money , less $25 administration fee, is refunded.

Cancellations or alterations made after 1st September & before 1st November:
30% of money paid for any unwanted days in the Xmas/New Year period is refunded or 30% of money paid can be put towards other dates in the booking or future stays. Days before 24th Dec or after 1st Jan which are part of the minimum 7 days, are subject to the 30% refund. Additional money paid for days other than those of the Xmas/New Year period are fully refunded.


Cancellations or alterations made after 1st November and before 1st December:

20% of money paid for any unwanted days in the Xmas/New Year period is refunded or 20% of money paid can be put towards other dates in the booking or future stays. Days before 24th Dec or after 1st Jan which are part of the minimum 7 days, are subject to the 20% refund. Additional money paid for days other than those of the Xmas/New Year period are fully refunded.

Cancellations or alterations made after 1st December:
No refund for unwanted days paid for in the Xmas/New Period, or credited against other days in the booking or future stays. Days before 24th Dec or after 1st Jan which are part of the minimum 7 days are not refunded. Additional money paid for days other than those of the Xmas/New Year period are fully refunded.

Any days that have not been paid for on time, cancelled, credited or refunded, are forfeited. No bookings or payments can be on-sold or transferred to a third part.

Prices quoted are current at time of booking and may be subject to change without notice. We are sorry, but we are unable to absorb all the increases passed to us by our suppliers and our Government.

To assist with your boarding cost, we are happy for you to make periodical payments throughout the year. However, days booked for the Xmas/New Year period must be paid before 1st Sept.

FOR STAYS IN THE DECEMBER/JANUARY SCHOOL HOLIDAYS WHICH DO NOT INCLUDE THE XMAS/NEW YEAR PERIOD:

We do not require a booking deposit for stays in our Dawgy Dorm and our Cattery. However, we would appreciate if you let us know if you no longer require the booking.

For stays in our Lil' Dawgy Fun House, we ask for a $50 booking deposit.
For stays in our Resort Rooms, we ask for a $100 booking deposit.

If the booking is cancelled more than 2 weeks prior to check-in, all monies are refunded less $25 administration fee. If the booking is cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to check-in, there is no refund or credit for the booking deposit.
